[Software] Synaptic Package Manager missing 'download from' address

I broke my Synaptic Package Manager [pacman] (Debian 12) trying to resolve an issue with repositories, when I deleted the download from: "http://deb.debian.org/debian" within the "Software and Updates" dialogue box. After doing that, pacman no longer works but returns a fatal error message, so I proceeded to completely remove pacman using these commands:
sudo apt-get remove synaptic*
sudo apt-get purge synaptic*
sudo apt-get autoremove
sudo apt-get autoclean

Each command appeared to execute correctly. I rebooted the machine and attempted to reinstall the application performing this command. sudo apt-get install synaptic*

The installation appeared to work, however pacman still does not work. I am able to start pacman, but I receive a fatal error (screenshot attached): "E: The value 'stable-security' is invalid for APT::Default-Release as such a release is not available in the sources E: _cache->open() failed, cannot continue.", then the app closes. I have noticed that 'sudo apt-update' yields a similar error. The re-installation did not install the default pacman "download from" address. How do I reset the defaults within pacman if I cannot run it, or better yet is there an easier way to fix or a better pacman to use?

Any direction that you can provide is appreciated.
Thanks,
Kevin
