Trying to install something I got a msg. to the effect that kernel ...20... headers were missing so:
... what should I do? Yes, I updated.
BTW, mea culpa, when my system upgraded itself to the ...21... kernel (with no problems), I noted, while watching a backup proceed, that I still had ...20... stuff lying around, and I thought it was orphaned, so I deleted it all manually. But it seems that ...21... still wants the old headers even tho the ...21... headers are installed. I was a bit cavalier about the deletion because I assumed if I remove something needed (as it seems I did), that I'd just be able to reinstall it. Point being that I did this to myself.
