Hi,
Last night I did an update to 5.10.0-29-amd64 and when I went to boot into it the system got stuck where it says "Started simple desktop display manager". It just hangs there. I do see a message above that line that says the NVIDIA persistence daemon failed. I am wondering if that has anything to do with it.
I am running Debian bullseye and was on 5.10.0-28-amd64 when I did the update. There were no error messages when I ran the update. I will admit that I did run sudo apt autoremove right after the update was complete because I had issue with the boot directory being full in the past. Perhaps I was being overzealous with that.
Any suggestions on where to look or what to do? If more information is needed feel free to ask.
