[Software] Problem with Plymouth Theme

Hi guys! :D
I had a thread about Plymouth Themes a few years ago and then left it alone....
I have Debian 12 and have now installed Plymouth Themes and added a theme....
Now the problem is - I get my boot image.....then it is a blinking cursor on blank screen...then some random numbers in top left hand corner of the screen which change every time I boot....then I get the theme chosen.....BUT...then a blank screen for a short while before my login screen...
I have tried:

Code:

GRUB_DEFAULT=0GRUB_TIMEOUT=5GRUB_DISTRIBUTOR=`lsb_release -i -s 2> /dev/null || echo Debian`GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash"GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX=""GRUB_GFXMODE=1024x768x32
I chose the GRUB_GFXMODE=1024x768x32 because that information was given from grub on boot... this gives me my theme...

I can even leave the GRUB_GFXMODE= (blank) and the computer boots just as it did with the resolution included....
What I don't understand is why the theme is only briefly appearing....and why the numbers in top left corner?
Has anyone any ideas?
