Is it worth changing vfs_cache_pressure

I've been playing around with different vfs_cache_pressure settings. Online search shows people using settings from 50 up to 2000. I've tried many, 50;100;200;1000 and 2000. I have found no difference in performance and I'm thinking maybe with 8 gigs of RAM there isn't any benefit to it?
What say ye?
