I recently migrated from Windows to Linux but I have always had the same problem: after a variable amount of time after booting, the system crashes and the screen freezes. None of the keyboard shortcuts allow you to recover it.
At first I thought it could be a problem associated with the Linux distro, but I have tried several (Ubuntu, Arch Linux, Debian, and several derivatives of each) but the same thing always happens. But I never faced this problem in Windows.
My computer is somewhat old and I don't have great technical competence, but I have tried to modify the graphics drivers following tutorials, without any success. If anyone could guide me to find out what the problem is and fix it, I would be deeply grateful.
