My initial RAM upgrade for the computer I'm using right now involved purchasing the wrong specifications. Not only was this RAM incorrect for my HP Z420 motherboard's model and series, but it was expexsive and I made the huge gaff of keeping it to long past the return policy.
So this being said. Does anyone know of a fairly modern motherboard that takes PC3-14900L random access memory? I'd like to use my investment by either purchasing a second-hand machine that can handle 128GB of PC3-14900L ram. I'd also consider purchasing the parts and pieces to build my rig. However, Idon't think that most of the newer generation motherboards su[port PC3-14900L RAM.
