How to make window docking "sticky" like ubuntu

Normally I drag several Windows to top/left/right of my desktop and they offer partial "docking" i.e., half/quarter of the screen and "stick" there. This doesn't happen in my current Debian install. Can anybody help a noob? Seems like it's related to Cinnamon somehow, or possibly the GPU/drivers?

Here's my neofetch output:

Code:
