I have freshly installed a new graphics card I bought, the 7800 xt. I read I didn't need to update drivers because apparently the kernel has all the drivers needed baked in?
Anyway, I proceeded to reboot my computer and to my surprise the gpu worked and displayed through a DP cable but debian would not let me get into my desktop environment (Wayland KDE Plasma). I searched a lot but wasn't able to find anything that matched my problem.
What's going on and what should I do to fix this?
