Using Debian 12 32 bit on a low spec. laptop*; only installed a few days ago. Initiating a video in YouTube or from my files results in a "phht" sound and immediate shutdown; I tried using Gnome and XFCE browsers and no difference. Previously I had tried Debian based Peppermint OS and the same thing occurred. Today I was also playing an MP3 and opened something else (can't recall but not knowingly a video) and same thing. I also had almost no sound on Zoom; occasionally a couple of words could be heard on commencement. I don't know if there is any connection but Bluetooth worked much better on P'mint OS than on Win. 10; also Phone Link on Win. 10 wouldn't work despite OS re-set; so hardware issues looks like one possibility.
