[Software] Could Someone Give me with Post-Installation Network Configuration on Debian?

Hello there,

I recently completed the installation of Debian 12 on my desktop machine. The installation went smoothly, but I'm having trouble configuring the network settings to get my system connected to the internet.

The problem I am facing is that after installation, my network interface is not automatically configured. The system does not seem to recognize my Ethernet adapter, and I am unable to get a network connection.

I ran ip a and ifconfig -a, but my Ethernet adapter does not appear in the list.

I used systemctl restart networking and systemctl restart NetworkManager, but with no success.
I attempted to manually configure the network settings by editing /etc/network/interfaces and /etc/netplan/*.yaml (for systems using netplan), but the configuration does not seem to take effect.

Steps to identify and diagnose the problem with the network adapter.
