This came about because I need the system-config-printer package and I abhore hackish installation methods. So no, manually getting the deb file isnt' the solution...besides, the crash seems to be unrelated to the specific package I'm tryin to install.
and yes, I tried all the RPI-ish hacks of deleting the package metadata caches. no joy.
Thoughts?
