[SID - Unstable] Problem with anyconnect - help

Hello Everyone.

I am running Debian 12:

Code:

Fri May 31 09:18:14 [rossi@debian12 ~]$inxi -SASystem: Host: debian12 Kernel: 6.8.9-amd64 arch: x86_64 bits: 64 Desktop: Xfce v: 4.18.1 Distro: Debian GNU/Linux trixie/sid
The University of Connecticut uses

Code:

anyconnect
for offsite users to communicate with the Linux Cluster.

Recently, I performed an

Code:

apt-get upgrade
and

Code:

apt-get dist-upgrade], and following that [code]anyconnect
no longer works. The error that it gives is

Code:

The VPN connection failed due to unsuccesful domain resolution
. The version of

Code:

anyconnect
that I am now using is

Code:

anyconnect-linux64-4.10.08029-core-vpn-webdeploy-k9.sh
. Another older version threw the error that I don't have the correct libraries installed.

This is what my life is like right now. If I want to transfer a file to the Linux Cluster, I must transfer it to a third-party server. Then logoff to Debian 12 and reboot to Windows, since I have a dual boot installation. Logon to the Linux Cluster because

Code:

 anyconnect
works on Windows. Then I can now do work on the Linux Cluster

Can anyone please help me with this. Will Debian support

Code:

anyconnect
? What am I missing as a possible alternative? I have tried working with the IS department, but they haven't provided me with much support.

There was a similar post on the Debian Forum similar to this, but the focus was on two-step identification.

Can someone help me with this problem?

Thanks so much for you patience and listening.

Kind regards,

Angelo
