Hi,
first off I have to say that I am not sure if it is not the onboard wifi chip that is just faulty, but would hope to find this out with your help. Also, I am pretty much a linux noob, but I'll try my best to give you all the information you might need to better assess the problem than I can.
Since the beginning the driver of my wifi chip failed on occasion, leading to the wifi cutting off and the pc being unable to shutdown. Recently I get error messages on boot and neither wifi nor bluetooth are working or even showing in the OS. Here some outputs from some commands:
lspci (the adapter in question):
However, the device does not show up when I run nmcli, lsusb or ip link
The error messages I get on boot are the following (extracted from the journalctl):
Does anybody have any idea what I could try to get it up and running again or is the chip dead?
Thanks alredy!
